Infoship implementation is currently ongoing at Bohai Cruise Ship Management, the Chinese shipping company that acquired the Costa “Voyager” this year.
The ship, renamed Chinese Taishan, is the first InfoSHIP® software installation at a Chinese shipowner and provides, in addition to the software applications, the training phase to Bohai Cruise personnel directly in YanTay City, in northern China.
When Bohai Cruise Ship Management purchased Costa Voyager, it asked to evaluate the software systems in use by Costa Crociere; the outcome was the confirmation of InfoSHIP® as the management tool for maintenance activities planning, for technical activities recording and for inventory management and spare parts procurement.
