Infoship software for Maintenance Management received a new Type Approval Certificate.
“Bureau Veritas Maritime & Offshore” granted, in fact, the certification for Arribatec Marine’s Fleet Management solution, Infoship Asset.
The system, it is worth remembering, is meant to support Shipowners and Ship Operators in duly setting up, running and maintaining a schedule for machinery repairs and replenishments.
Arribatec Marine’s web-based solution is designed to work in both cloud and replicated environments (i.e., delocalized, where internet connection might be unstable). This allows businesses with remote and offshore assets to implement replicated software environments, full cloud access, or hybrid setup.
“Shipowners and Managers are called to increase transparency and efficiency within their company. Implementing a Planned Maintenance System, such as Infoship Asset, to ensure their vessels are operated and maintained according to class and manufacturers’ requirements is key to achieving that target. In addition, through its modular structure, Infoship Asset can handle, streamline and keep track of any Maintenance, Logistic, Procurement, and Financial process” – says Agostino Fiorentino, CEO of Arribatec Marine.
This certification assures Infoship customers that the system has been duly assessed and approved under Bureau Veritas standards.
According to the IACS’s “Annual Review 2021” Bureau, Veritas is the first Classification Society in the World by a total number of vessels. Also, according to the latest “Performance Table of Recognized Organizations” published by EMSA, it is also the third-best performing ranking register regarding onboard inspections.
