RINA Type approval for infoship asset

InfoSHIP, the single web-based software system to support, digitalize and integrate a broad range of fleet technical and operational processes, complying with the latest regulatory requirements in the market, secured the Type Approval for its Asset Maintenance Solution from the leading class and certification society, RINA.

InfoSHIP Asset allows Shipowners and Operators to maintain a schedule for machinery repairs and replenishments, to keep track of all transactions related to purchase and stock usage, and to provide all stakeholders with the necessary information while ensuring increased transparency and efficiency within the company. The certification provides InfoSHIP customers with the assurance that the system has been duly assessed and approved under RINA standards.
Planning appropriate maintenance schedules is essential to maintaining safety and compliance of optimal conditions onboard ships – and any delays to their schedules increases the risk of defects and breakdowns in operations.

It is within this landscape that maritime organizations need to make the best of their operational data to effectively face the management challenges ahead by obtaining a complete assessment of their operations. The answer lies in a solution based on a single platform, providing the most effective means of discerning critical operational activity and, consequently, driving efficiencies for fleet managers.

Concerning the certification, Agostino Fiorentino, Vice President – InfoSHIP EVO, said: It is a great achievement for our Infoship. This is also the first milestone towards compliance with all the various rules and certifications that we are pursuing in IB Marine.
