InfoSHIP® ELB has been found to be in line with the latest Isle of Man’s Technical Advisory Notice “Acceptance of Electronic Oil Record Books”.
Since the Isle of Man Ship Registry is part of Red Ensign Group (REG), together with United Kingdom, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Gibraltar, the flag’s administration acceptance represents a meaningful step forward in the next acceptance of InfoSHIP® Electronic Oil Record Book by all British shipping registries.
The trial period, introduced by the Isle of Man ship registry, encourages ships to gain and share the experience in the use of electronic Oil Record Books before the IMO Guidelines are formally adopted in 2019.
